Greg Knoop has over 15 years of professional experience in project planning, design, and administration for health care, institutional and government projects located in the United States and Europe.
Since joining Oudens + Knoop in 1995, Mr. Knoop has been project architect for a number of the firm's projects, including skilled nursing, maternity, CT scan, and radiation oncology facilities at Sibley Memorial Hospital; outpatient, research and dietary facilities at Walter Reed Army Medical Center; the General Services Administration Adaptable Workplace; renovations to the Historic George Town Club; cafeteria renovations for the Department of Energy; surgery expansion and renovation at the Washington VA Medical Center; the Center for Space Technology at the Navy Research Laboratory; renovations to the auditorium and emergency department at the Washington Hospital Center; and the new office building for the U.S. Embassy Chancery in Ljubljana, Slovenia.
Mr. Knoop's work has included master planning, historic renovations, environmentally sustainable design, programming, site planning, architectural design, interior design, construction documents, preliminary budget estimation, project management, and construction administration.
He received a Bachelor of Architecture degree, with honors, from Carnegie Mellon University in 1990 and has been licensed to practice architecture since 1994.
